Ethan Kadish: How a book about a rhino can help Loveland boy struck by lightning, Part 1
WCPO Cincinnati, OH

In early March, 2017 Susan Bernardo and I were honored to be able to visit Rockwern Academy in Ohio and experience community at it's best. Through the All School Read program, Rockwern students partnered with Hays Porter Elementary and made new friends. Students all read the Rhino book, and then visited each other's schools and met their pen pals. It was a really wonderful experience. A special thank you to Julia Weinstein, Rockwern's incredible librarian and the Kadish Family.

While visiting Rockwern Academy we also were able to have a book reading/signing fund-raiser at a local temple to help support Team Ethan.

The Rhino Who Swallowed a Storm Lands on the International Space Station: December 8, 2015

Rhino was chosen to be a part of Story Time From Space and joined 6 other children's picture books on a rocket ride to the ISS. Susan and I were lucky enough to visit Kennedy Space Center for the launch, but alas 4 days of weather delays meant we ended up watching the launch on NASA TV. It's still SUPER exciting to have a book in space AND read by Astronaut Kate Rubins...the video of the reading will be available soon! So remember to shoot for the moon...you might land on the Space Station.
